Invite friends to a group

Splitting is better together. Once you’ve created a Group, invite the people sharing the costs so everyone sees the same Expenses and Balances.

Send an invite link

1. Open the Group you want to share.
2. Tap Members, then Invite.
3. Choose Share link.
4. Send the link however you like — a messaging app, email or a group chat.

When a friend opens the link, they join the Group as a Member and immediately see its Expenses and Balances.

Add a friend by name

If someone isn’t ready to join yet, you can still include them:

1. In the Group, tap Members, then Add member.
2. Type their name and tap Save.

You can split Expenses with a named Member straight away. When they join later through your invite link, their Balances are already waiting.

Invite a saved Friend

If you split with the same people often, save them as Friends:

1. Tap Add member, then pick someone from your Friends list.
2. They’re added to the Group in one tap.

Tip: Anyone in the Group can add Expenses and invite others, so you don’t have to do all the admin yourself. The whole group can pitch in.

Everyone stays in sync

As Members join and add Expenses, Donget syncs every change in realtime. New Expenses and updated Balances appear for everyone at once — no refreshing and no “did you add it yet?” messages.

Inviting friends and adding Members is always free, with no cap on how many people a Group can hold.
